Melissa “Lou” attended graduate school at Fordham University where she received her masters degree. She has worked in the field for 25 years and in that time has worked deeply with families, veterans experiencing severe mental health issues, older adults struggling with transitions and loss, as well as children who have experienced trauma.  She utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques to achieve the goals of each client.  Trauma, grief, and anxiety are her areas of expertise.

Lou offers a safe and open space to express feelings and then explore how to get to a better place in your life.

It is never too late or too early to feel better about things that have happened in your life.  It is possible to be in the driver’s seat of your life without the need to control, but rather to be open to the road ahead.
