Shea is a client-centered therapist with an empathetic, accepting and supportive approach to life and therapy. Shea’s focus is first building a trusting relationship with his clients so they can feel safe and comfortable opening up to him about their struggles. Shea applies a caring and compassionate approach to each session that encourages his patients through the use of Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing therapy techniques to help patients create and achieve their goals.

Shea graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelors and masters degree in Social Work. Shea then obtained his state license in mental health and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Shea specializes in working with individuals who need help with anxiety, grief, depression, marriage counseling, anger-management, trauma, family, parent/child and interpersonal relationships as well as adjustment issues.
